Welcome to tucuxi.org. This is a personal domain I use predominantly for publishing some open source projects, and photos from Australia. The site is still a work in progress, after changing the type of content on this site.

The projects below are a small subset of the things I have been working on; more will be uploaded in the near to distant future. This site is a little out of date; I'm still working on the whole concept of a 'work/life balance'. Work yes, life occasionally, balance not so much.

Code

• Timelapse Batch Raw Converter. Converts raw images to JPEGs suitable for stitching into a timelapse video with a continuous EV curve. Avoids those nasty jumps in exposure when taking timelapses with bad metering or manual settings.
• Phased Microphone Array Simulation. Constructs recordings based on an audio source and microphone geometry, then reconstructs audio from the various microphone recordings with an arbitrary focus.
• BushfireConnect fork of Ushahidi: As part of the Random Hacks of Kindness weekend in Melbourne, implemented an improved map interface for Ushahidi instances through the Ushahidi API.
• C++-style comments in C code considered harmful: Why you should not mix // with C89 code.
• EventMapper: Visualising malicious network traffic
• Graphopt: GTK+ 2.x port of Michael Schmuhl's Graphopt graph layout engine
• FontPreview: Generating readable font books for the web
• mvsed: Rename files with regular expressions
• tmp102.c: Convert SPI readings from a TMP102 sensor to human-readable values
• Shell One-liners: A collection of useful shell lines, still a work in progress.

• Melbourne Zoo, 2010-05-16. Photos taken mainly of the tigers, including the four tiger cubs recently brought on display at the zoo.
• Taronga Zoo. Photos of the tigers, and the snow leopards.
• Melbourne, Australia. Photos taken in and around Melbourne.

Recipes

• I've started to put a few of my recipes online, mainly Indian food.

Other Stuff

• An amusing job ad for DSD, complete with a fragment of x86 code.
